We are currently looking for Key Account Specialist Hyderabad based at Hyderabad with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
Key Account Manager role is accountable for delivering Volume and NSV targets across assigned direct and indirect key accounts, while driving business development through strong customer relationship management, application engineering, effective commercial and contractual arrangements, and strategic engagement with channel partners to enhance market reach and sustainable growth.
What you will deliver
- Handle assigned direct and indirect key accounts to deliver Volume and NSV targets, ensuring growth across end customers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Handle daily operational requirements from customers and indirect accounts, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen relationships across all relevant functions within assigned customers and indirect account partners, maintaining an up-to-date stakeholder/contact map.
- Develop and regularly update account plans for both direct and indirect accounts to maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, using customer insights, market intelligence, competitor activity, stakeholder relationships, and tender opportunities.
- Implement agreed business activities by acting as the single point of contact across Sales, Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, and channel partners to ensure flawless delivery.
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews with customers, distributors, and internal partners to track KPIs, find opportunities, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with all commercial and contractual agreements, including timely renewal, extension, and governance of customer and channel partner contracts in line with company requirements.
- Lead or participate in global account networks and collaborate with regional and global colleagues to employ standard processes and identify growth opportunities across assigned accounts.
- Drive growth through indirect channels, working closely with distributors, resellers, and channel partners to enhance account penetration, improv market coverage, and accelerate sales of strategic products and solutions.

- Experience in handling global or regional / trans-national key accounts
- Ability to demonstrate gravitas and shown credibility as a sales professional.
- Ability to operate at a senior level within customer organisations and handle stakeholders efficiently.
- Ability to think strategically and translate into opportunities and solutions for mutual benefit with the assigned accounts
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the OEM and Franchised dealer environment.
- Intimate knowledge of the OEM value chain and the global motor industry; this would include awareness of differing cultures and business ethics within the global automotive arena.
Education : Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in engineering – B.Tech
