Role Description

The Jr. Content Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and publishing clear, engaging content that promotes Gurully's products and services and drives organic traffic. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and involves researching industry-related topics by combining online sources, interviews, and studies, and turning that research into well-structured marketing and blog copy. The role includes preparing drafts within Content Management Systems, proofreading and editing posts before publication, and ensuring all-around consistency in style, tone, fonts, and imagery across content. The Jr. Content Writer will update website content as needed, coordinate with the marketing and design teams to illustrate articles, and conduct simple keyword research while applying SEO guidelines to increase web traffic. The person in this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and supports broader marketing goals, while staying current with content trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in content writing across multiple platforms.
• Experience creating long-form content such as blogs, articles, and case studies.
• Experience writing content for marketing campaigns.
• Experience writing articles for magazine features and guest blog websites.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with excellent R&D ability to find the right context for a given subject.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems for drafting and publishing content.
• Working knowledge of basic SEO guidelines and simple keyword research to improve web traffic.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills, with a keen eye for consistency in style, tone, and formatting.
• A creative mind with strong storytelling skills.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience within ed-tech or a fast-paced digital environment is an advantage.
