Role Summary :

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of organization ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective management of day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Accounting Reporting :

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Inventory management including valuation and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and the Companies Act.
• Ensure timely closing of books of accounts and preparation of management reports.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
  
  

Statutory Compliance :

• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Provident Fund (PF), Employees State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  
  

Budgeting & Controls :

• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  
  

Team Management :

• Supervise and mentor the accounts team.
• Allocates responsibilities and review team performance.
  
  

Skills Required :

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
