You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective financial operations and project management, contributing to the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Services Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Industrial teams), ensure compliance with internal controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
You’ll specifically take care of financial operations, project controlling, and compliance, but also lead efforts in continuous improvement and cost optimization.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective financial operations and project management, contributing to the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Services Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Industrial teams), ensure compliance with internal controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
You’ll specifically take care of financial operations, project controlling, and compliance, but also lead efforts in continuous improvement and cost optimization.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring proper cost controlling and review mechanisms with key stakeholders.
- Monitoring and reporting site-related KPIs, including headcount, workload, production overhead, and absorption costing.
- Reviewing and challenging operations on workload efficiency and cost reduction targets.
- Ensuring accurate accounting and timely closure of service maintenance orders, repair orders, depreciation allocation, and general services allocation.
- Implementing Alstom’s production accounting system, including consumption accounting and work order closure in SAP.
- Identifying new areas for improvement to reduce operational costs.
- Strengthening controls on inventory, including material master controls, obsolescence reserves, stock counts, and physical verifications.
- Reviewing capex proposals and evaluating business cases to ensure competitiveness.
- Participating in overall project management processes alongside the Project Manager.
- Reporting monthly financial performance of projects and proposing action plans to improve contract margins and cash profiles.
- Driving working capital improvements, such as inventory optimization and lead time reductions.
- Ensuring adherence to Alstom’s Delegation of Authority (DOA), Power of Attorney (POA), and other approval controls.

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of financial operations, cost controlling, and project management.
- Knowledge of SAP and production accounting systems.
- Familiarity with inventory management and financial compliance processes.
- A professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
