About The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager with around 5+ years of experience in Indian taxation, particularly GST, Income Tax and Tax Audit. The candidate will be responsible for handling tax compliance and advisory assignments, reviewing work prepared by team members, coordinating with clients, and managing day-to-day deliverables.

Exposure to US/UK corporate tax compliance, ERP systems such as NetSuite/Oracle, and international taxation will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Indian Taxation

• Manage and review GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C and related reconciliations.
• Handle GST audits, notices, assessments and departmental queries.
• Review Income Tax compliances, including computation, return filing and related tax workings.
• Assist in Tax Audit under Section 44AB and preparation/review of Form 3CD.
• Perform tax reconciliations and identify potential tax/compliance issues.
• Research and interpret changes in tax laws and assess their impact on clients.
  
  

International Taxation – Preferred

• Exposure to preparation/review of US/UK corporate tax returns will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with international tax concepts and corporate tax compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with overseas teams/clients and understand foreign tax requirements.
  
  

Accounting & ERP

• Work with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle or similar accounting/ERP platforms.
• Review financial data, GLs and tax-related reports extracted from ERP systems.
• Perform reconciliations between accounting records and tax returns/compliances.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Indian taxation.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax and Tax Audit.
• Good understanding of Form 3CD and tax audit requirements.
• Strong MS Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations and working with large datasets.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Good people-management and team-handling skills.
• Ability to review work and identify errors or inconsistencies.
