What You Will Own


Business partnering

• Be the people partner for assigned business functions-own the people agenda for those teams

• Support and advise lead P&C on org health, team dynamics, capability gaps, and people decisions

• Bring a structured point of view to business reviews -headcount, team performance, hiring needs


Performance &growth

• Run the full performance cycle for your functions -goal setting, reviews, calibration, ratings

• Design and manage PIPs with clear targets, regular check-ins, and documented outcomes

• Own probation reviews and make confirmation or extension recommendations

• Build the business case for promotions and internal mobility; manage the process through to completion


Employee relations

• Be the first point of contact for grievances-receive, assess, resolve, and know when to escalate

• Own disciplinary cases for your functions-fact-finding, documentation, and process management

• Handle complex employee situations with care, consistency, and legal awareness


Engagement & manager effectiveness

• Design and run engagement surveys for your functions and own the action planning that follows

• Build and run manager effectiveness interventions-coaching, feedback frameworks, capability sessions

• Identify learning and development needs from performance and engagement data

• Create a customised Rewards & Recognition program


Talent partnering

• Partner with our recruiters on hiring quality, role calibration, and structured interviewing for your functions


What We Are Looking For

Experience

• 4-6 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a business-facing HRBP or generalist role with real ownership

• You have worked in an AI, SaaS, or product-led tech company -this is not a nice-to-have. You understand how technical teams operate, what motivates engineers and ML practitioners, and what performance looks like in a product environment

• You have handled employee relations independently-grievances, disciplinary cases, difficult manager conversations -not just assisted on them

• You have run or co-owned performance cycles including PIP design and execution with documented outcomes

• You have worked in a company that was building and scaling, not just maintaining


What you bring

• A consulting mindset -you diagnose before you prescribe, and you can hold a hard conversation without losing the relationship

• Genuine ER capability -you know the difference between a grievance and a disciplinary matter, and you can manage both without creating risk

• Data literacy -you can read people data, identify patterns, and form a credible point of view from what you see

• Clear, structured communication-written and verbal. You can write a PIP, run a manager session, and present to a leadership team

• Process discipline -you work within structures, build documentation, and don't rely on verbal agreements

• Real interest in developing others -the recruiter growth pathway is a core part of this role
