Research/Job Area- Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas.
Location- NIT Agartala – Registrar’s Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Admin Building.
Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification
- First-Class Master’s Degree along with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline of Engineering.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis with valid proof may also be considered.
- Retired faculty from Institutes/Industries or personnel working in research organizations may be considered on a case-to-case basis.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview to engage two (02) Guest Faculty members in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). The engagement will be on a temporary basis with credit-based remuneration. The interview will be held on 08/09/2025 at 11:00 AM in the Registrar’s Conference Room, 3rd floor, Admin Building, NIT Agartala.

Associate Professor (in service/retired): ₹35,000
Assistant Professor (in service/retired): ₹30,000
Others (State/Central Govt. not in regular service): ₹25,000
- The engagement will be purely temporary and valid for at least one semester.
- Faculty must deliver a minimum of 13 one-hour lectures per credit course.
- Responsibilities include conducting class tests/assignments, preparing question papers for mid-term and end-term examinations, and evaluating answer scripts.
- Lectures will primarily be conducted in offline mode, with a maximum of one lecture per week allowed online.
- Payment of honorarium will be processed only after completion of all academic requirements, including examinations and evaluations.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
