Global Supply Chain Planner - Cellasto

Objective:
Responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient supply planning by translating demand requirements into executable supply and procurement plans in SAP/OMP. The role focuses on maintaining material availability, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting end-to-end supply chain execution through structured planning, workflow coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Acts as a key interface between planning, procurement, logistics, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth value chain operations, manage supply disruptions, and support data accuracy and process improvements within a dynamic, international environment.
M ain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Supply Planning:
- Develop and manage supply plans, schedules, and orders in SAP based on demand and inventory positions
- Convert planned requisitions into purchase orders, track order confirmations, and monitor execution progress
- Ensure material availability and optimize inventory levels through KPI monitoring and forward projections
- Manage obsolete inventory disposition in alignment with business guidelines
- Maintain and update SAP master data (planning parameters) to ensure data accuracy and system reliability Collaborate closely with global supply planners and cross-functional stakeholders across regions and time zones
Value Chain Workflow Coordination:
- Process and record goods receipts in SAP to ensure accurate inventory and transaction postings
- Facilitate value chain workflows, supporting decision-making and process execution Transfer and maintain workflow outputs in SAP and other relevant systems
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with SCM, Procurement, and external partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations Proactively identify and manage supply disruptions, coordinating mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders
Other Responsibilities:
- Monitor logistics costs (including filing, packaging, shipping, distribution, and demurrage) and track monthly trends
- Provide backup support for SCM team members during planned and unplanned absences
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects Prepare and maintain reports to support planning and performance monitoring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering, or Business Administration (any bg can be considered,
- 0–2 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field (or “relevant internship/academic exposure”)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP systems (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with virtual teams and global stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in planning and execution
- Adaptability and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges
- Structured and process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and consistency
- Fluent in English
- German language proficiency (mandatory)
