General Manager
Position Overview
To lead all departments for the timely, budget-compliant, and quality-standard execution of all company projects (Road & Bridge) and to define strategic direction for the organization’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Management
- Monitor the progress of all ongoing and new projects as per WBS, Gantt Chart, and set targets.
- Ensure quality and speed of work as per BOQ, drawings, and DPR.
- Provide immediate solutions to site issues, tender delays, and machinery breakdowns.
B. Operations Management
- Receive weekly MIS from all HODs (Accounts, HR, Purchase, Mechanical, Planning, QS, Site).
- Optimize resources — materials, machinery, and manpower.
- Direct involvement in tendering, rate analysis, and tender negotiation.
C. Financial Oversight
- Review monthly budget, cash flow, and cost control.
- Maintain balance in client billing, payment collection, and tender payments.
- Implement cost-saving strategies and margin improvement plans.
D. Team & Leadership
- Motivate and guide a team of 100+ employees.
- Implement KPI-based performance review system.
- Ensure inter-department coordination and conflict resolution.
E. Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015, MoRTH, IRC, and all legal/safety standards.
- Supervise regular site inspections and third-party audits.
Required Qualifications
Educational – B.Tech (Civil) / M.Tech + MBA (Project/Operations) preferred.
Experience – 12–20 years, including at least 5 years in senior management (EPC Road/Bridge).
Technical Skills – Project Planning (Primavera/MSP), Rate Analysis, BOQ, Tendering, ERP/MIS.
Leadership Skills – Decision Making, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution
Communication – Fluent in Hindi C English; ability to handle government and corporate meetings

- Tender/Client satisfaction score (%)
- Cost-saving achievements
Monthly CTC: – INR 115000/- to 125000/-
