Role Overview
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver seamless real-time communication solutions using VideoSDK. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving mindset, and customer-facing communication skills to help clients successfully integrate and optimize our platform.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deployment needs.
- Build, customize, and implement solutions using VideoSDK APIs and SDKs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on support during implementation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve integrations and customer experience.
- Create technical documentation, proofs of concept, and implementation guides.
- Monitor deployments and ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, ReactJS, APIs, WebRTC, WebSocket, and system design fundamentals.
- Experience with debugging, integration, and customer-facing technical discussions.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and networking concepts.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience with Node.JS, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or real-time communication platforms.
- Exposure to CPaaS, developer tools, or SaaS products.
