About The Role

As an Executive – GBS Delivery you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Global Lease Accounting team, collaborating with Real Estate Teams, Regional Controllers, auditors and AP team teams. As a team of self-starters, you can work with impact with our vibrant people and culture all while enjoying unmatched learning opportunities.

In This Role, You Will Be

• Accounting for the Leases Globally across Cognizant
• Preparing the required reconciliations monthly
• Responding to queries from Business
• Computation of the Asset / Liability & monthly charges for the leases not in Costar ( tool used for Lease accounting)
• Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors
• Ensuring that the Sox Controls are considered and followed.

What You Must Have To Be Considered

• Professional qualification with 2-3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge in Accounting and Reporting
• Knowledge on Lease Accounting is preferable.
• A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.

Work model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
