- Manage extensive Excel-based workflows, including data collection, sorting, and advanced data analysis.
- The exercise of preparing feasibility includes constructing detailed excel sheets including market Rx and value data, USFDA data as well as data from other sources.
- The data sheets need to be updated regularly as the evaluation is a continuous exercise with all dosage forms being repeatedly evaluated for any change in underlying competitive dynamics.
- Support Portfolio strategy and research by evaluating existing as well as new molecules approved by the USFDA .
- Scan all US FDA related disclosures for new products approvals (NDAs and ANDAs) .
- Track new generation molecules and therapies under development .
- Coordinate with other teams for product budgeting exercises.
- Ideal candidate would be aware of the basic US pharma regulatory & product approval dynamics.
- Candidate should also have an interest in tracking and analyzing sectoral developments as well as their impact on portfolio strategy.
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in pharmacology.
- Reasonably strong capability for excel as well as Power point skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical thinking, and coordination skills.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and driven to connect science with strategy.
- Familiarity with data bases such as IQVIA, Symphony etc. would be a plus .
- Ability to scan financial reports of listed pharma companies would be an added plus.
- A broad reading habit across the pharmaceutical landscape is a distinct advantage.
- Role is expected to work in all general shifts.
