Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support the execution of ground-mounted solar EPC projects. The role involves assisting in site supervision, civil works execution, and coordination with contractors, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision
  
  

Assist in execution of civil works such as site grading, excavation, trenching, and foundation works.

Support layout and alignment of module mounting structure (MMS) foundations.

Supervise day-to-day activities of contractors and labor at site.

Report site progress and highlight issues to seniors.

• Drawing & Technical Support
  
  

Read and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and instructions.

Coordinate with senior engineers for technical clarifications.

• Quality Control
  
  

Assist in checking quality of materials and workmanship.

Support site inspections and maintain basic quality records.

Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  
  

Follow and promote safety practices at site.

Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Report unsafe conditions and support implementation of safety measures.

• Coordination
  
  

Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams for smooth execution.

Work closely with contractors and ensure work progress as per plan.

Support communication between site team and project management.

• Planning & Reporting
  
  

Maintain daily progress reports (DPRs) and site records.

Track assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.

Assist in monitoring project timelines and reporting delays.

• Material & Resource Support
  
  

Help in tracking material requirements and usage.

Check incoming materials for basic quality and quantity.

Ensure proper utilization of resources at site.

• Billing & Documentation Support
  
  

Assist in measurement of work quantities.

Support contractor billing and documentation processes.

Maintain records of drawings, reports, and site data.

Technical & Functional Skills

Basic knowledge of civil works, foundations, and construction practices

Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office

Understanding of drawings, BOQs, and site execution basics

Eagerness to learn and grow in solar EPC projects
