Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced security engineer with hands on expertise in managing EDR and vulnerability management tools, configuring security policies, troubleshooting technical issues, and handling critical security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage EDR tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Configure and modify security policies, prevention controls, detection rules, exclusions, and endpoint protection settings.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and take corrective actions to resolve endpoint security issues and critical incidents.
• Manage vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys, Tenable, and DataBlock Unit Catalogue to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot agent deployment, connectivity, scanning, detection, configuration, and policy enforcement issues.
• Apply threat intelligence to identify emerging threats and support proactive threat hunting to detect suspicious activities and potential compromises.
• Coordinate with SOC, infrastructure, and application teams for incident containment, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in endpoint security and vulnerability management.
• Hands on administration and troubleshooting experience with at least one EDR tool and one vulnerability management tool from the listed technologies.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security configuration, policy management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
• Exposure to threat intelligence, threat hunting, and investigation of security alerts.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions independently.
