Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform control wiring and power wiring for packaging machines as per CAD electrical diagrams
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to ensure correct installation and connections
• Install, test, and maintain electrical components such as relays, contactors, sensors, switches, and drives
• Carry out power calculations for electrical components to ensure proper load handling and safe operation
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, control panels, and wiring systems
• Ensure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and neatness in wiring work
• Support machine installation, trials, and smooth functioning of electrical systems in production
• Maintain electrical safety standards and follow all safety procedures on the shop floor
• Coordinate with Mechanical and maintenance teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of tools and equipment
• Assist in regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
  
  

Requirements

• ITI (Electrician) or equivalent qualification
• Strong ability to read and interpret CAD electrical diagrams
• Good knowledge of electrical components such as relays, contactors, sensors, drives, and switches
• Strong understanding of control wiring and power wiring
• Knowledge of electrical power calculations and proper load handling
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing instruments, and panel wiring
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in machines and control panels
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial practices
• Ability to work independently on shop floor tasks with minimal supervision
• Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
