Who are we looking for?

Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboard Ion Implant process engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tool acceptance, characterization, process set up and optimization and performance analysis, along with the ability to support customer applications, product evaluations, and equipment demonstrations. This role requires close collaboration with equipment, Integration and product engineering teams to drive product development, upgrades at customer locations ensuring ion implant tools/process meet technical and operational requirements.

Wondering what your Responsibilities would be?

Tool Characterization & Operational Support

• Execute ion implant tool characterization, analyse performance data, and maintain operational window and Best known Method documentation.
• Support process development /changes through characterization, performance validation, and documentation updates.

Customer Installed-Base Support

• Maintain installed-base tool data, analyse performance, stability, uptime, and SPC metrics, and support investigations into process and tool-related issues.

Equipment Demonstration Support

• Support customer demonstrations, including feasibility reviews, recipe setup, wafer processing, tool qualification, and demonstration reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and field teams to communicate characterization results, update operating specifications, and support competitive benchmarking.

Process/application Support and Development

• Support new process/application development, customer evaluations and validation, characterization and analysis of results.

What Makes you Eligible?

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering , equipment engineering, or related technical role.
• Familiarity with ion implant concepts (dose, energy, species, uniformity) and related characterization tools and methodology.
• Basic understanding of SPC, data analysis, and experimental methodology. Also, ability to program basic engineering functions in JMP, Minitab, and MATLAB is a plus.
• Ability to document technical results clearly and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn hands-on tool operation and support customer-facing activities.
