Role Overview
Experienced E‑Commerce QA & Integration Specialist with strong domain expertise in complex e‑commerce platforms and enterprise integrations . The role is critical in enabling stable, high‑quality delivery in a high‑change, fast‑paced development environment , supporting both new feature development and large‑scale system integrations.
The ideal candidate brings deep functional and API testing expertise , with a proven ability to identify complex edge cases early in the lifecycle—significantly reducing downstream risk, defect leakage, and release instability.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Own quality assurance for e‑commerce platforms , including new development initiatives and complex enhancements
Identify and validate edge cases, integration touchpoints, and cross‑system dependencies early in the development cycle
Lead functional, integration, and API testing across critical user journeys
Ensure stability and confidence in releases by minimizing defect leakage and regression risk
Collaborate closely with development, product, and integration teams to support rapid yet stable delivery
Provide quality insights that directly protect release timelines and production stability in a high‑change environment
Core Skills (Must‑Have)
Strong experience in E‑commerce application testing within enterprise environments
Proven expertise in functional testing covering end‑to‑end business flows and user journeys
Solid understanding of system integrations and dependency management
Experience identifying complex edge cases and high‑risk scenarios during early test phases
Strong defect lifecycle management and quality reporting practices
Ability to work effectively in Agile / continuous delivery models
Skill Requirements
Niche / Specialized Skills (Critical Differentiators)
Deep API testing expertise supporting complex backend integrations and interfaces
Strong functional domain knowledge that provides coverage beyond standard test scenarios
Experience validating multi‑system integrations across e‑commerce ecosystems
Ability to assess impact across interconnected systems, reducing downstream failures
Domain exposure from large enterprise programs , enabling faster stabilization of new initiatives
Capability to operate as a single‑point quality owner for high‑risk and high‑dependency areas
These niche capabilities are not widely available within the team and are critical to maintaining delivery confidence, release stability, and business continuity
