Data Analyst SAS SQL Or Python Tableau POSITION SUMMARY

The Risk SAS Data Analyst will provide data programming and analytical support within the Collections Risk Management department to optimize operational effectiveness while minimizing delinquency and losses and improving profitability.

Responsibilities

Work with large data sets primarily in SAS

Perform statistical analysis that support Collection related initiatives

Design and maintain queries and reports to monitor and analyze strategy and portfolio performance

Communicate business results to management and internal business partners

Design and develop data tables that support Collection strategies and scorecard modeling activities

Partner with Risk Operations and Technology departments to assure that business requirements and procedures are correct clearly document and properly implemented

Candidates must have a strong technical background in SAS and SQL. Data analysis skills are very important. A business/finance or Risk background would be advantageous. A general understanding of statistics is a plus.

Must Haves

SAS SQL or Python

Experience working with large data sets

Tableau PowerBI or other web based delivery vehicles

Risk Business or Finance background

Strong Analytical Statistical and Problem Solving Skills

Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Programming: Python (Scikit-learn),

SQL

Data Visualization: Tableau, Excel,

Google Sheets, Matplotlib

Modeling: Logistic regressions, linear

regressions, decision trees

Product Analytics: Google Analytics,
