Required Skills

  • Experience in Fiori role design, including catalogs, groups, pages, spaces, and business roles.
  • Understanding of app-to-authorization object mapping during Fiori conversion projects.
  • Working knowledge of PFCG, SU24, SU01, SU53, and ST01.
  • Exposure to GRC Access Control is a plus.
  • 4–8 years of relevant SAP Security experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure Fiori authorization concepts, including roles, catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages for S/4HANA environments.
  • Perform authorization analysis for Fiori app conversions, including mapping classic GUI transactions and authorizations to corresponding Fiori apps, OData services, tiles, and target mappings.
  • Build and maintain PFCG roles integrating backend and frontend (Fiori Launchpad) authorizations.
  • Troubleshoot Fiori app access issues, including missing catalogs/groups, OData authorization errors, and Fiori Launchpad tile visibility.
  • Support SU24/SU22 maintenance and authorization trace analysis using ST01/STAUTHTRACE for Fiori scenarios.
  • Collaborate with functional teams during S/4HANA upgrades and greenfield/brownfield implementations to identify Fiori app equivalents and associated authorization objects.
  • Prepare authorization design documents, role matrices, and testing scripts for Fiori-enabled roles.
  • Support SoD risk remediation for Fiori roles in coordination with GRC teams.
