Chiller Operator cum MST (Maintenance Support Technician)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Chiller Operator cum Maintenance Support Technician (MST) with 5–8 years of experience to join our facility management team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining HVAC systems, with a strong focus on chiller plant operations.

You will ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical facility equipment through preventive maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and operational standards. This role is ideal for professionals who bring hands-on technical expertise and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in chiller plant operations and HVAC maintenance.
• Working knowledge of AHUs, pumps, and cooling systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Proficiency in maintaining log sheets and technical records.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chiller plant systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues related to HVAC equipment.
• Maintain daily log sheets and record system parameters such as temperature and pressure.
• Coordinate with external vendors for breakdowns and major maintenance activities.
• Assist in electrical and mechanical maintenance across facility systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Support overall facility management and MST-related responsibilities.
• Identify potential issues proactively and escalate when required.
