  • About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organized *Category Assistant* to support the Category Head in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating cross-functional activities, and driving category growth initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and coordination skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Category Head in planning, coordinating, and executing category-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Academic, Operations, HR, and Tech to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Manage social media pages, prepare content calendars, schedule posts, and engage with online communities.
  • Support digital marketing activities, campaign planning, creative strategies, and content execution.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, influencers, and external partners for marketing deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, trackers, dashboards, and other documentation.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks, schedule meetings, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and ensure timely completion of action items.
  • Assist in planning and executing webinars, promotional campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor ongoing activities and provide regular updates to the Category Head.
  • Perform other operational and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, marketing, project coordination, or social media management is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good coordination, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Canva or other basic design tools is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management and task-tracking tools is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
