We are seeking an Associate Lead – Business Development to drive growth through strategic partnerships in the banking and fintech ecosystem. This role is a blend of relationship management and execution, where you will support and manage partnerships, contribute to deal closures, and ensure seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, engaging with banking and fintech partners, and supporting end-to-end deal execution. The role requires a strong understanding of financial services, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and support new business opportunities across banking and fintech sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, fintech partners, and clients
  • Assist in expanding partnerships and driving collaboration initiatives
  • Support end-to-end deal execution including discussions, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders on strategic and enterprise-level deals
  • Ensure timely progression and closure of business opportunities
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into relevant business solutions
  • Participate in client discussions, demos, and presentations
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and operations teams for smooth onboarding and execution
  • Track deal pipelines, maintain updates, and ensure alignment across teams
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities
  • Provide inputs for go-to-market strategies based on market insights

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience in business development within banking, fintech, or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of the banking and digital financial ecosystem
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and support deal execution
  • Experience working on enterprise or B2B partnerships is an advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, tech, and operations teams
  • Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to execution
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup or product-driven environments
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from market trends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes efficiently
