Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Backend Developer with 1–2 years of experience in building scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Python. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of backend development, REST APIs, database design using Supabase (PostgreSQL), and a basic understanding of AI-powered applications and modern AI development tools.

The candidate will be responsible for developing secure and efficient backend services, designing database architectures, integrating third-party APIs, and supporting AI-driven features where required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, Python, Fast API/Django.
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Design and manage databases using Supabase (PostgreSQL).
• Write optimized SQL queries, database functions, and manage relationships.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, and cloud storage.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Supabase Auth.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow backend development best practices.
• Work on AI-powered backend features such as chatbot APIs, AI workflows, automation, and LLM integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, database improvements, and AI trends.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in Backend Development.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, Python, Fast API/Django.
• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Supabase (PostgreSQL) for database design and management.
• Strong SQL knowledge (joins, indexing, query optimization, transactions).
• Experience with authentication (JWT, OAuth, or Supabase Auth).
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control.
• Basic understanding of API security, error handling, and backend architecture.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Supabase Edge Functions.
• Nice to have experience with MongoDB.
• Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time applications.
• Experience with Redis or caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience integrating AI APIs into backend services.
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
• Experience working on SaaS products or AI-powered applications.
