Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee billing-related verification and reconciliation activities for NSE, BSE and MCX
- Assist in timely dispatch and tracking of contract notes, margin statements, account statements, and other regulatory client communications as per SEBI norms.
- Monthly and quarterly running account settlement, process payments and reporting.
- Track exchange -related expensesand vendor bills.
- Liaise with auditors, dealing desk, operations, and accounts teams for smooth execution and resolution of documentation queries from clients or regulators.
- Execute client fund and collateral segregation as per regulatory norms.
- Continuously review and strengthen operational workflows — reconciliation, exception management, reporting, and documentation — with an eye on automation, scalability, and error elimination.
- Audit & Inspection Readiness: Ensure all records, registers, and documentation are audit-ready at all times. Manage all internal and external audits, Exchange inspections, and exchange-level reviews end to end.
- Collaborate closely with the Back Office Monitoring Team, Tech Team, and Product Team to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot operational issues, implement process improvements, and ensure efficient execution of operational workflows.
- Handle OD/FD fund movement, ensuring timely processing and alignment with banking requirements.
- Monitor daily fund pay-in/pay-out obligations and track fund movements.
- Assist in FD planning decisions by evaluating tenure based on settlement cycles and liquidity needs.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understandingof stock broking back-office operations.
- Familiarity with back-office software,trading/back-office systems, or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of settlement cycle, pay-in/pay-out, client ledger, margin, collateral, and regulatory reporting.
- Working knowledgeof client fund and collateral segregation will be preferred.
- Understanding of contract notes,margin statements, runningaccount settlement, and client reporting.
- Good Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, data checking, and MIS preparation.
- Ability to identify mismatches, follow up on exceptions, and maintain proper documentation.
- Good coordination skills with internalteams, vendors, banks, auditors, and clients.
- Accuracy-focused approach with ability to work within timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance,Economics or a related discipline.
- Certifications related to Capital Markets or NISM will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a Stock Broking firm.
