• Receiving the Materials Resource Planning Chart from the Production Planning and Control Department
• Analyzing the report and predicting the required stock by comparing the planned stock and existing stock of materials
• Defining new strategies with supplier like Consignment Stock,JIT,VMI etc. to enhance inventory turn and hit business inventory goal
• Transportation and logistics management
• Submitting the schedule of material needs to suppliers.
• Prioritize requested weekly and daily material buying
• Ensuring that all the materials are arriving at the required deadline
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products.
• Review safety stocks , Lead time and MOQ with suppliers.
• Supervise parts expediting in order to have components in time for production and avoid any missing parts.
• Coordinate with production and purchasing departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained at optimal levels to support production requirements.
• Resolve supply chain-related issues in a timely manner.
• Spares allocation: Procurement of spares according to the requirement
• Getting clearance of incoming components from quality department
• Persuading suppliers to take corrective action of discrepancies in quality and also enabling immediate replacement of defective components
• Ensuring that all the payments of suppliers have been made in schedule and also resolving all the payment conflicts by coordinating with the Finance Department
• Frequent visit to suppliers’ units to maintain relations and to address delivery issues.
