About- Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded was established on September 17, 1994 by the Government of Maharashtra. The University caters to the southern part of the Marathwada region of Maharashtra covering four districts namely, Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli. This university obtained 2(f) and 12(B) recognition of UGC and achieved recognition, name and fame at the state, national and international level in the area of academic, research and innovation and extension activities. NAAC re-accredited ‘B++’ grade with CGPA 2.96 to University.

Eligibility/Qualification–
- Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from an accredited Foreign University.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
- NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in Disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
for full time Regular (Government Sanctioned) Teaching Positions in the various Schools / Departments on the Main Campus & Sub-Campus Latur of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. These Posts are to be filled as per the Provisions maid under Section 102 of the Maharashtra Public University Act, 2016. Pay scales for the post of Assistant Professor:-
Post Assistant Professor (As per UGC Norms) Pay Matrix (7th Pay) Academic Level -10, Pay Band Rs.57,700- 1,82,400/-
Applications fees of Rs.1000/- (for Open Category) and Rs.500/- (for candidates belonging to reserved categories) should be paid in online Mode

- Application in prescribed format online mode from the University website or Government website will be accepted on or before 13/11/2024 in person or by post within office hours on all working days (except public holidays, 1st and 3rd Saturday)
- The last date for submitting application, in prescribed forms, duly completed, in six copies is 25/11/2024 up to 05.40 PM.
- Online application form will be available from 14th Oct. 2024
- Last date for online submission of form: 13th Nov.,2024 till 5:30PM.
