Job Highlights

The Application Chemist at the Thane site supports basic formulation work, new product/application development, and execution of analytical testing to address customer requirements. The role provides timely technical support by generating and sharing reliable data with customers and resolving application-related queries. Working closely with the business team, this position contributes to customer satisfaction, product evaluation, and strengthening LANXESS’s technical service capabilities and market support.

• Perform formulation and application development work for flavor and fragrance business unit to support customer requirements and regional business opportunities
• Execute analytical testing, sample preparation, stability checks and generate reliable technical data to support customer queries and support new product evaluations.
• Support new product and application development project and adoption of global formulations for local market needs.
• Prepare customer samples, conduct application trials, and support evaluation (including basic sensory coordination where applicable)
• Ensure laboratory compliance, documentation, safety, and efficient lab operations while providing timely technical support to the business team and customers
  
  

Experience / Skills

• Specific Education Master’s/Ph.D degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Chemical
• Work Experience 3 to6 Years

Experience in formulation, application development, or analytical testing, preferably in Flavors & Fragrances or specialty chemicals application/synthetic labs. Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques, sample preparation, data generation, and collaboration with business and global technical teams is preferred. Effective communication skills with team members and colleagues. Good English communication skills and proven ability to take direction and follow through with actions quickly to accomplish goals
