Job Summary
We are looking for energetic, result-oriented, and self-motivated candidates for the position of Sales Officer (SO). The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, developing strong retailer/distributor relationships, and ensuring business growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
Increase product availability and visibility across General Trade, Modern Trade, and pharmacy channels.
Conduct regular market visits to generate secondary sales and improve market penetration.
Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key customers.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Ensure effective execution of promotional activities, branding, and merchandising initiatives.
Track stock movement and ensure optimum inventory levels at distributor points.
Collect market feedback and provide insights to the management team.
Prepare daily sales reports, beat plans, and market intelligence reports.
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy business relationships.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in any discipline.
23 years of experience in FMCG, nutraceuticals, healthcare, Ayurveda, wellness, or consumer products industry.
Strong knowledge of channel sales and distribution management.
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Familiarity with the local market and retailer network will be an added advantage.
Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
