AI Engineer, Enterprise AI Development

About the role

Design and ship AI applications that take regulated enterprises from AI experiments to systems running in production. You will join the Enterprise AI engineering team at Moring in Chennai (on-site, full-time, mid-level individual contributor).

What you will do

• Design and ship AI-powered products and agents for enterprise customers, from prototype to production.

• Build on LLMs and agent frameworks: orchestration, retrieval, tool use and evaluation.

• Connect AI solutions to customers' data, APIs and workflows, and deploy them in customers' environments.

• Own features from design through deployment, working directly with customers and the founding team.

• Add the testing, monitoring and safeguards regulated buyers expect, with reliability, security and accountability in mind from the start.

• Measure the impact of your work and turn successful solutions into repeatable ones.

What we are looking for

• 2 to 5 years of software engineering experience shipping production applications.

• Hands-on experience building applications or agents on LLM APIs.

• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or Go, with solid API, data and cloud fundamentals.

• A product and customer focus, a bias toward shipping quickly, and clear written English.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering software in financial services or other compliance-heavy industries.

• Full-stack range, including a customer-facing interface.

• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, and with third-party integrations.

• A record of fast, independent delivery in a startup or small team.
