Rural Enterprise Development Expert

Location: Lucknow

Qualification

  • Postgraduate in Rural Development, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Management, Development Studies or related field

Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in rural enterprise development, agribusiness, livelihoods, entrepreneurship development or related areas
  • Experience in enterprise development, business planning, market linkages, financial literacy & capacity building

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement rural enterprise development strategies
  • Identify viable enterprise opportunities across farm, allied & non-farm sectors
  • Support training and capacity building of women entrepreneurs
  • Facilitate market, financial, government scheme & ecosystem linkages
  • Strengthen enterprise performance through business diagnostics & mentoring
  • Document enterprise models, best practices, outcomes & lessons for scale

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of rural entrepreneurship & enterprise development models
  • Excellent facilitation, training, mentoring & stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to provide linkages and support to entrepreneurs
  • Strong documentation, reporting & presentation skills
