- Perform end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger accounting.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities within established timelines.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial results for multiple entities, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, provide ongoing forecasting updates, and analyse variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all required tax returns, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and leading initiatives to improve financial processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, providing insights into cost management, revenue enhancement, and financial efficiency.
Required Qualifications Skills:
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Experience: 4-6 years in accounting, preferably in an IT or fintech company.
- Software Skills:
- India: Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST/TDS Filing Portals.
