The Team & Role
Togai is a cutting-edge metering, rating, and usage-based billing platform. We provide businesses with a single, comprehensive solution to meter, rate, and bill customers for any pricing model. Togai was recently acquired by Zuora and we're seeking a solid Engineering Leader to drive our product development.
We are looking for highly motivated engineers with strong computer science fundamentals to join our team and be part of the development of our metering, rating & usage-based billing platform. This role involves building world class SaaS applications with high performing APIs, extremely efficient background jobs, well formed APIs. You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver the product development milestones.

We are looking for highly motivated engineers with strong computer science fundamentals to join our team and be part of the development of our metering, rating & usage-based billing platform. This role involves building world class SaaS applications with high performing APIs, extremely efficient background jobs, well formed APIs. You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver the product development milestones.
What You Will Achieve
- Develop highly flexible and scalable features in the Usage billing capabilities across our company’s products
- Work closely with software architects and senior developers in delivering the product roadmap
- Build robust APIs and background jobs which are highly performant and developer friendly
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1-3 years of product development experience, preferably some portion of it in SaaS or B2B software.
- Experience in building backend APIs or full stack applications.
- Proficient in Data Structures & Algorithms, solid grasp of OOPs concepts.
- Solid low level design knowledge and execution experience
- Knowledge of frameworks, tools/IDEs, testing and documentation.
- Experience in metering, billing, or subscription management platforms
- Expertise in frontend technologies, architecture and implementation strategies.
- Understanding of cloud-based architectures, development, and deployment
