What you’ll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan, implement, and oversee the logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and storage of goods.
- Responsible for collections, shipments, customs clearance, returns & other logistics related activities.
- Optimise logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts.
- Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Supervise and lead the logistics team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Analyse logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on logistics performance and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- At least a graduate
- Experienced in Operations or Logistics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years experience with managing the team.
- Proven track record of managing logistics operations and leading a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar data tools
