What you’ll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan, implement, and oversee the logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and storage of goods.
• Responsible for collections, shipments, customs clearance, returns & other logistics related activities.
• Optimise logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Supervise and lead the logistics team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Analyse logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on logistics performance and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Resolve any logistics-related issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least a graduate
• Experienced in Operations or Logistics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years experience with managing the team.
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations and leading a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar data tools
