Job Description

There is an Urgent requirement for an experienced Data Centre Resource in Prestigious Project.

This resource is required specifically for night shift as we need to provide 24x7 Technical Support at location as per RFP/Contract.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting server and network infrastructure, including expertise in handling Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) systems, ESXi, UCS, and various storage solutions.

The role requires strong automation skills, deep knowledge of Linux server environments, and the ability to implement efficient recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

• Analyze, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and server issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Record and document problems, resolutions, and recurring issues to optimize future performance.
  
  

System Records & Documentation

• Maintain detailed system records including user manuals, update logs, and configuration documentation.
• Ensure all system documentation is up-to-date and accessible for reference.
  
  

HCI Infrastructure Management

• Work with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments, including ESXi, HXDP, and UCS.
• Troubleshoot and optimize HCI server performance, ensuring scalability and high availability.
  
  

Server Automation & Deployment

• Automate server deployments using scripting languages and configuration management tools like VRealise Automation, Intersight, CWOM, etc.
  
  

Virtual Machine Management

• Create, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs) in line with operational requirements.
  
  

Linux Server Administration

• Administer and maintain Linux-based servers, ensuring proper configuration, performance, and reliability.
  
  

Storage & Backup Management

• Manage and configure storage solutions such as Commvault Software, NetApp SAN Storage, Disk Archive, and CommCell Console for efficient data backup and recovery.
• Ensure backup systems are functioning correctly and recover data as needed.
  
  

Network Switch Configuration

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches and related infrastructure.
• Ensure network connectivity for all servers and VMs is stable and reliable.
  
  

VMware Administration

• Administer VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter management, and troubleshooting VMware-related issues.
