About Tsunami Express

Tsunami Express is a Car Wash platform business focused on building and buying brands in one of retail's fastest-growing spaces: express car washes. Our mission is to disrupt this $14bn industry by using technology to drive growth and expanding our network of data-enabled washes. About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team remotely. In this vital role, you will support the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations by managing vendor invoices, payment processing, and account reconciliations. As a fully remote offshore team member, you will work closely with our U.S.-based accounting team and help ensure timely and accurate financial transactions using platforms such as NetSuite, Ramp, and AvidXchange. If you have strong organizational skills, experience with cloud-based financial systems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Enter, code, and process vendor invoices through AvidXchange and Ramp.
• Post and manage payables in NetSuite, including matching with purchase orders and receipts.
• Assist with the review and approval routing of vendor bills and corporate card transactions.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 and bank information.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
• Assist with weekly payment runs including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Support month-end close activities such as AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with U.S.-based team members via Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
• Support Finance & Accounting special projects as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar accounting role.
• Experience working remotely for a U.S.-based company.
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, AvidXchange, and Ramp is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency Microsoft Office.
• Self-starter who can work independently across time zones with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
